Dr Chang is the absolute best!
My advice would be to seek another doctor. Dr. Chang did surgery on my back to fix one problem and caused another. Day after surgery, I felt new intense pain with other complications. Waited it out, did physical therapy, injections and nothing helped. I went back to Dr. Chang to try and get answers. He told me he was unsure why that happened as he was inching to door, making me feel rushed to leave. Dr Chang performed a TLIF surgery on the L5-S1 level of my spine in 2016. After surgery my back and sciatic nerve pain was increased. During my 1 month follow-up Dr. Chang reviewed my New CT scan and said, “it looks like we missed our mark on 1 of the 4 screws”. It turned out that he and his team placed one of screws whereas it was protruding out of the vertebrae. I would think that he would check all screw placement before I left the operating room.
