Do not recommend this place at all.... Unfortunately, I had the worst experience with this place. I made an appointment 10 days ahead and had to change my work schedule for that appointment. When I was there on time and asked for Vickie, she said she never made that appointment and does not know anything about it. Instead of apology for wasting my time, she said mistakes happens! What??? Is this the SAME SALON??? I am absolutely surprised that I am reading this review! I have been going to Vickie Lavanty’s salon for 18 years now and have never run into any experience even remotely like the one you are describing. Are you sure you’re speaking about the same salon? Vickie and her staff are friendly, respectful and professional. Vickie has been cutting, styling and coloring hair for over 30 years and is excellent at her craft. RUN AWAY FROM THIS SALON! I waited 3 months to post this review because I don't normally do things like this. This was the worst hair experience I have had...ever...in my life. I asked for a very specific haircut, which I had a picture of, which I had, had before..I walked out with a haircut that an experienced stylist was literally puzzled by. Highly Recommend! Vickie has been cutting my hair for years. She has very reasonable prices and she's great with kids (she cuts my 5 year old daughter's and 7 year old son's hair as well). Vicky has trained with the best, and now trains others. I've never had a complaint with her service.
