High prices and the room was small and drafty. Also, no power outlets on both bedside tables? This immediately tells me you haven’t fully renovated the room in 20 years.
Very nice. Rooms are small. Very small. You begin to wonder about the overall price. But if your visiting NYC, rooms are to sleep in, and the city is to be visited. Yet staff has been just wonderful. Bar at the roof, wonderful. Staff again just great. Food was perfect.
I stayed in the presidential suite with my mother and we had a lovely view of Central Park from one side of the suite. The bathrooms were clean and chique and the overall experience is unique. In the restaurant (Le Jardin) on the ground floor we were well received by the waiters and the service was excellent. The continental breakfast in Le Jardin was tasteful and we had a view of the kitchen while seated in the back area. In the evening we had two different mocktails at the bar of Le Jardin.
