The location is the only reason we would consider staying here again. We are Marriott Bonvoy titanium members. We initially got to the hotel around 3pm like we told them we would, and the receptionist was working by herself and overwhelmed. She said the room was clean it just had to be inspected. We sat and waited for 30 mins. She forgot all about us until we asked again. She then called and said it still had to be inspected. Finally at 4pm we got the keys. Wonderful hotel in a great location. The staff was very accommodating and they provided good service.
Rooms were clean but outdated. All of the staff was very pleasant. It is within walking distance of several attractions and close to a subway station if you need to commute.
Decent hotel, restaurant downstairs is great for breakfast, rooftop bar is also cool. Rooms are typical New York small but nice and quiet.. I would have rated them one star higher, however they tried to charge me a $500 “smokers fee” on a 2 night stay. I have never smoked in my life and the room had no smell of any kind of smoke. I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke so I cannot even stay in a room that has been smoked in.
