I was really excited to try Vice Doughnuts, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. When I walked in, the store was empty. An employee came out from the back, briefly acknowledged me, and then continued packing an order while I stood there waiting. The atmosphere did not just feel awkward, it felt genuinely hostile and unwelcoming. When I ordered a matcha, the employee did not even ask what size I wanted.
