I really don't like leaving negative reviews but I am shocked the way this practice operates. I went in on 09/10/26 for removal of 3 warts on my face which they told me was covered by insurance. Prior to being seen they made me save my credit card on file which I found very odd because I've never been asked to do that for a doctor visit. The dermatologist took about 2 minutes (if that) to remove the warts. I was genuinely excited to visit this practice because it is Black-owned and had such positive reviews, particularly regarding its care for melanated skin. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from a communication and care-coordination standpoint. When booking, I explained that I needed a dermatology consultation related to a post-surgical concern and had specifically been instructed to see a dermatologist. This was a few years ago, but I wanted to share my experience. I went here for acne treatment and tried the topicals and antibiotics they prescribed. Eventually they kept pushing me to go on Accutane, but I wasn’t comfortable with it because I had a bad experience with it in the past. One of the doctors even explained that another medication I had previously taken was more likely the cause of what happened, but it still felt like they were being passive aggressive about my decision not to go on Accutane. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Although the service from the other employees was nice, the doctor was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I overheard her talking to employees in a very rude and belittling way, which was uncomfortable to witness as a patient. She came across as very judgmental and made the entire experience feel tense and unwelcoming.
