I never had bad this location till now. What happened? Very das. Staffs at front desk are very rude, talked down to me like I was no body. I just simply told them what my insurance situation, one staff didn't understand and asked other worst one and she start told me so loud and talked down to me like I’m scolded by her for the question. I've had only pleasant experiences at VHC in Old Town. The receptionists have always been very kind and helpful on the phone and in person when I check in or need to reschedule, and my PCP is thorough during my annual checkup and is great about listening to all of my concerns and helping me.
My NP Lauren Burford was very attentive and took time to discuss any of my concerns. Highly recommend.
Unexplained extra charges and unhelpful billing specialists who seem to have no ability to assist. I've been coming here for a while, but I seriously might go elsewhere after the service I received today. ***UPDATE: Over a month has passed and I still haven't received a response yo any of my messages on the portal.
Updated review 2025: The management of the practice in the last few years has declined tremendously. Late last year I tried for a week and a half to get a simple refill for a medication before finally getting it just as I ran out. This year it took weeks for me to get a prescription tier exemption form filled out for my insurance. Now I have been in a billing dispute with the practice for over a month and no one seems to care to help me.
