My ex-husband was diagnosed with dementia and I am tryin to find a rescue for his dog. I called to make an appointment and I was told they would not see the dog because of "hostile behaviour in the lobby" by my ex-husband (not unheard of for and undiagnosed dementia patient, at the time). just now NEW I wish I could give them a zero. I came to appt with my dog and her back leg is injured. I needed assistance with getting her out of car. Everyone appears to be AFRAID of animals. REALLY? She does not have a history of biting nor is she aggressive. She is actually and emotional support dog. So, I got a blanket out of trunk tso she could jump out of car and land on it without potentially causing further damage to her back leg.
