How lucky are we to have Astrid and the caring team at 'Vets on the River to look after our cavoodle, Ralph. Always confident that the best treatment and advice is provided.
The team at Vets on the River are amazing. Dr Astrid and Alex and the nursing team have been so wonderful . They have been looking after both our boys (chunky cat Lenny and needle reactive dog Carl) and they have done a fantastic job. Our dog likes going to the vet now and while he’s not completely over his fear the team have been so accomodating when he needs any treatment . And our cat had hospital stay there recently and he was so well looked after. Couldn’t recommend them more.
My 2 cats have always received the best 5star treatment by Dr Astrid and Nurse Alex. They all have been supportive and most understanding to the cats needs. Dr Astrid moved forward with very skilled, efficient, experienced work in all situations thrown at her. Nurse Alex is very accommodating, sympathetic showing love and care to the animals while providing help full knowledgeable advice for home treatment and follow up's. I’m so grateful to Vets on the River for the wonderful care they’ve given our dogs. The team is warm, gentle, and genuinely devoted to every animal that walks through the door. Our little boy had a surgery with Dr Astrid, and at the same evening he was happily playing with his sister with no pain at all. Also, we love to see Alex for a manicure for our girl. Alex is super gentle and quick,and the procedure runs smoothly with no stress for everyone. Thank you guys for taking a good care of our fur babies.
We have been seeing Astrid at this veterinary practice for over 12 months now. We have an older Labrador cross whose medical needs are increasing with age. His needs have been managed very well by Astrid and her team. He has had surgery and recovered very well and his arthritis management has improved his quality of life significantly. Alex on the front desk is an absolute pleasure to deal with also. She is always professional and will do her best to assist. We highly recommend Vets on the River.
