Excellent food This is the place for great Italian food. The ambiance is nice, the food is great. From the warm fresh bread with olive oil for dipping, to the salads, pastas, and pizzas, you can't go wrong.
Too pricey-poor service This place WAS good when they first opened several years ago, but the prices have gone up like crazy & the owner is never there so the food is o.k., at best. The service stinks. Good luck on a busy night! We only saw the waitress twice-upon taking our order & when she brought our pizzas. We paid our bill at front only after the bus kid left it at our table. TOO PRICEY!
Vetrano's Great Italian restaurant. The pizza here is great along with the past dishes. Bread is served with oil and garlic while you're waiting for your food. The bread is delicious. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices.
Best Italian Food If you want good italian food then come to Vetrano's!!! There food is the best. friendly staff and very clean dining room
pricey Good food! I would recommend grabbing a pizza by the slice, they have a huge variety. I would not reccomend having a sit down dinner here because the prices are very high. Garlic Knots are also very good!
Not Just a Pizza Place Vetranos has really great pizzas. They have dinning in or take out. And have huge pizzas by the slice pre-made if you are not up for a whole pizza. They also have great salads and pastas. Prices are reasonable and portions are big.
Strip-mall Pizzaria at best! We're summer residents & have been for 3 years. Hate to sound vain, but we don't care for "strip-mall eateries". Decided to try Vetreno's as last resort, as we couldn't get into the Bridge or Serapo's cause of the wait. Hubby was super hungry & impatient. We were seated immediately & waited 10 minutes before we were as much as acknowledged, by a bus girl. They were pretty busy, no lines & not chuck full, however. Just a ok wannabe Italian Restaurant This place will only get a OK from me!! Prices are way to high for the food they serve!! If you want real good food with real good prices try the new Resturant Serapo!! Best food and blows the Italian right out of Vetranos
Best Pizza in Town This is the closest I've come to NYC pizza. Very delicious, but a tad expensive. You can get a slice, but I recommend buying a pie instead and eating your slice ASAP. That's when it tastes like NYC pizza...when it's fresh out of the oven. We order a pie every week. Entrees are pricey for location, but the food is good. High turnover with the servers.
