There is a reason this is the only 5 star ER vet in Long Island / NYC / CT / NJ. This is the cleanest ER facility with truly the most compassionate people working there. We came here with our dog for something unrelated and one of their vets found a mass on his bladder. Within a week, they were able to take him for surgery. Dr. Puccio, Dr. Giffords, Albert, all of the front desk are incredible people. Dr. Puccio is amazing. The entire staff is so sweet. She has done several surgeries for my pups. Most recently my Labrador retriever koda’s leg. She tore her ACL and meniscus. Not only did they get us in the following day for the surgery, they call you before the surgery, and immediately after. They did whatever they could to make my pup comfortable while she recovered from surgery, you can tell they really love the animals. They also made the drop off and pick up super easy. Best place for nervous pet parents! Dougie needed a CT Scan ASAP and they were able to accommodate the next day. Worth the hr long drive! Dr. Puccio is kind and compassionate and her explanations are very through. The staff is very friendly and compassionate as well. I highly recommend them! Thank you for the excellent service.
Our girl Luna an English Cream Golden Retriever went in for surgery on Christmas Eve to have a melanoma removed from her tonsils. The care she received went above and beyond especially during the Christmas holiday. Luna was the only patient and the Dr’s and staff provided us constant updates throughout Christmas Day. Luna is now back home resting peacefully. Clearly she has a long road ahead of her and Cancer shows no mercy so more treatments will be needed. We took our dog here after being told there was a two hour wait at our primary vet after our dog had cluster seizures. Dr. Giffords and staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, even at 1am! Glad to have come across this place!
