Our Little Darling was almost 11 years old and one of the smartest little Shih Tuz's we have ever seen. She had her cataract surgery on the 9th of March 2017. She aspirated after the surgery and developed pneumonia. Had a really bad cough afterwards. We did not know this had happened. She could not get rid of the bacteria that was in her lungs. On the 1st of April 2017 we had to have her put to sleep. Such a loss for our family. If only she had been watched closer.

Thank you Dr. Huskey and Emily and all the compassionate staff at Veterinary Ophthalmology Services for your professionalism and kindness and thorough care of Lewey today. Thank you for squeezing us into your busy schedule and for helping us feel at ease and for clearly explaining to us through drawing an eye on a whiteboard and describing to us what was happening with Lewey's eye. You all are amazing. Thank you for diagnosing and helping heal his eye and prevent further damage.
