Dr. Santos is our vet for multi pets. She has taken care of my animals for 5-6 years. She is always there when we need her and even checks on my babies to make sure they are better. I followed her from a vet that I had used since 1999. If she leaves, I will hunt her down like a hound on a coon. Her assistant is very sweet and my favorite intake person is Rachel.
I thought I found a great clinic but after my recent visit I am extremely disappointed. I brought a feral cat to neuter to be released later. The cat was given dewormer and flea treatment without my permission. When I told Dr. Strock that the cat is feral and will go back and get worms and fleas again, he said that cats over 1 year old get immune to fleas and worms! That was the stupidest thing I ever heard from the vet!! Later I called the office manager who told me giving flea meds/dewormer was their policy. Well, I think ... read more

Dr. Satos is so amazing. She took such wonderful care of our baby Tinkerbelle to the end. She has such wonderful heart and sweet spirit. I thank God for her.
Great and friendly staff, comfortable environment, vet and nurses are knowledgeable and polite. Always a fun experience when I go visit with Spaghetti!
Our beloved dog Cleo had been in their care the past 7 years. Unfortunately she had terminal cancer and passed last week. We are so grateful for the care of all the vets and staff. They even called and checked on her when she was very ill and did all they could to help her. They have been very professional and thorough. We greatly appreciate their loving care for our dog and now their kind thoughts shared with us in her passing. We received a sympathy card today from them that was very touching. We went out of town for a wedding and couldn't bring our dog with us, so we had to board. We had used another place in Augusta a few times, but we weren't very happy with them. Our dog always seemed to be traumatized when we picked him up. So, we decided to board for the 1st time with Veterinary Healthcare Associates. He wasn't anxious when we dropped him off or picked him up. He doesn't trust easily, but he was very loving to the staff. He seemed to have enjoyed his stay, and we will be customers for life.
