I showed up a couple minutes late for my appointment due to traffic. When I walked in, I was very apologetic about not making my appointment on time, but the staff assured me that everything was okay and welcomed me in with a smile while completing my check-in. My dog recently had cherry eye surgery and revision surgery here for a failed cherry eye surgery. Dr. Erickson and the staff are extremely reassuring, helpful and thorough. They are very caring and take their time to explain everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
They were so understanding when I was in a panic and I knew my dog’s eye condition needed intervention immediately if I were to try and save his eye site. I was at work, but my dad was on the way with my pup. I spoke to Nina and she was able to contact a doctor right at 8 am (even though the doctor wasn’t in clinic yet). They do not accept walk-in but they were able to accommodate same day. Dr. Goldenberg really took her time explaining the pathophysiology of glaucoma, treatment options and prognosis. My dog had a serious eye injury but I was unable to secure an apt for him not just with his actual vet but I called about 6 other vet clinics who all had zero availability, all a good week or 2 out. My gut told me his eye was in bad shape and I kept up communication with the Calabasas eye clinic. The doctor noticed my concern and squeezed my dog in and the very next morning he was in surgery on this doctor's day off! She came in due to the severity of my dog's eye injury.
