She always takes the time to clearly explain all of the options available for my pets, always asks me if I have any questions she can answer, and helps me make informed decisions without ever making me feel pressured. Dr Sheahan and her staff have been world class. They have given us and our cat excellent care. Dr. Sheahan really takes care of our family here and makes sure to be thorough while answering all of our questions. Our cat Kirby has a stubborn case of iris melanoma and VEC Pomona has done a great job at treating him and giving us the best care. I’m grateful that I chose the Veterinary Eye Clinic in Pomona (VEC-P). I took my dog to two other ophthalmologists beforehand, and the experiences were vastly different—and unfortunately, negative. I went to Veterinary Eye Clinic with my 13 year old shiba inu mix as an emergency visit for glaucoma. The VEC team provided the most gentle care and walked with us throughout our entire glaucoma journey. Every time we had emergency, they were with us either via phone call, text, or in person. Eventually, my dog underwent enucleation. I was quite hesitant about the process, but I am forever grateful for having undergone the procedure.
