I found 2 stray kittens that were in dire need of medical treatment. Their eyes were basically sealed shut from what I suspect was an upper respiratory infection. At first, I took them to a different emergency vet in gilbert. I waited 2 hours for the vet to look at them and see “if they’re sick enough to take in”. This visit was traumatic for my daughter and me. I will never return to or recommend VEG ER for Pets in Chandler. I brought my dog in around midnight because he was breathing heavily. After an ultrasound, the staff said he might have pneumonia and recommended X-rays, bloodwork, and oxygen, with an estimate of approximately $1,700. I want to recognize the overnight nurses because they were compassionate and handled my frightened dog very carefully.
