We have a 6 month old Great Dane that had spent the day at daycare. They called us to tell us he had some dry heaves and had vomited a little frothy pink vomit. On our way to pick him up, we called an emergency vet fearing possible bloat. That vet recommended we take him straight to VEG as they could potentially do surgery immediately if needed. We brought our 11 year old cat Cissy for emergency care when she vomited all morning and by 6 am the next morning had not eaten or had water. The VEG staff was very organized and professional. She had surgery the next evening after blood tests, x-rays, and ultrasound confirmed she needed surgery to remove an obstruction which turned out to be a hairball clump. What a wonderful experience we had this morning helping my dog get back to health. Dr. Berdy and all of the vet assistances were absolutely amazing and so kind. They all showed so much empathy and were super accommodating with my dog’s needs. I never felt pressured in to anything and truly was a remarkable experience. Thank you!!! I’d give more stars if I could :)

I brought my dog in for having a seizure with distress. The women took everything seriously and treated his symptoms immediately. Unfortunately the two male “doctors” were more interested in bro time than anything. At one point my dog was full convulsing and pooping, I shouted for help…. No one came. Luckily the couple next to me cared and helped me clean it up and gave me kind words. It happened again and I shouted for a doctor who showed up just to placate my concern.
