Get directionsMy dog ate a tennis ball while playing at a dog park. When I got to him, it was too late; and he already swallowed most of it. My Vet helped me to induce vomit, but not much came out. He advised me to go to the nearest VEG. Dr. Anna Taylor at the Falls Church, VA location was the one to take charge. She administered more vomit inducement. Seeing that not enough came out, she administered the delicate procedure to take out the tennis ball piece by piece from my dog's stomach. Bit by bit, she was able to get them all. She and ... read more
Although they immediately took care of my cat, they also played into my vulnerability as it was midnight on a Saturday night. I knew within hours this is a scam organization who wanted to do unnecessary tests. If your animal is in distress during the day, look for other vets or hospitals. Or expect to pay more than you should.
This particular location for the Veterinary Emergency Group earned every bit of this 5 star rating. Every staff member that i had the pleasure of interacting with during my visit went above and beyond any expectation and even any possible hope I have ever had for a veterinary visit, let alone an emergency situation. Each individual treated me and my pet with admirable kindness, patience, empathy, and genuine care and concern for my pet's health and well being as well as my own. I do not say these things without careful consi... read more
Veterinary Emergency Group Review On a harrowing day, my 15-year-old dog Charlie, who is incredibly gentle and never bites, suffered a traumatic eye injury. After hitting his head on a railing, his eye began to protrude, and he was in obvious pain. I rushed him to the Veterinary Emergency Group in Falls Church, VA, around 3 PM. Stop #1: Veterinary Emergency Group - Falls Church Location (7500 Leesburg Pike, Suite 11, Falls Church, VA 22043) Despite Charlie's severe condition, the staff did not prioritize his injury. After... read more

Service was bad and $2500 to remove Porker Pine quills from my dogs. Stay away
I never write reviews, but the traumatic experience we had at VEG compels me to share our story, hoping no one else faces the absolute horror we endured. Overall, the VEG hospital is certainly not an environment for many people; the open room concept resembles an Army MASH unit. Ill and injured animals are scattered on tables in one room. During our visit, a gurney with a deceased large animal covered under a towel rolled right past us. Amidst the height of dog flu season, our otherwise healthy adult dog was coughing and l... read more
Absolutely the best. Feel so safe bringing my dogs there. They let you stay with your animals the whole time if you'd like to. Oldest dog had a stroke and youngest fell on a branch and got a huge hole on his chest. Both are doing great. Love VEG!
