If you can avoid bringing your small pets here, particularly for euthanasia, do it. Months later my heart still aches with regret for bringing my guinea pig here in his final moments...they were drawn out, with unnecessary pain (he required a second sedative shot after the first wore off, due to how long the staff left us waiting with our dying pet). They refunded us for the service, but I would much rather have paid and had his final moments be peaceful and dignified. I'm not looking for a response...nor would I take kindly... read more

I came back to VEG about four months after having to bring my dog there to say goodbye, and I was once again absolutely impressed with the care and compassion I received.
