My 7-month old kitten Nori had emergency surgery, and her doctor recommended overnight monitoring at an emergency vet clinic. I was recommended one in Berkeley (not by this vet, but by another one), which I was planning to go to, but it was raining so hard that night that I decided to go to VEG instead because it was much closer. The VEG staff were so patient and accommodating for my husband and I when we brought our cat in at 12 AM for a urinary blockage. Dr. Lexi Calderon was so understanding and walked us through all the potential outcomes over the course of over 4 hours. We are so grateful to the VEG staff for being so well equipped at balancing and prioritizing all of the incoming animals, and relieved to bring our boy home.

This place always amazes me! Their staff are always so warm and welcoming. When I have brought pets to them in distress they got me in right away and give excellent companionate care. Great place!

Took my dog last night for an abscess he was seen by Dr Calderon. She was great at explaining everything and also working with me on a price. The vet tech that I can't remember her name sorry was so good with our dog and also letting us know all the things she was doing step by step.
