Shout out to VEG in Union for saving our dog Harper’s life last Wed night. We can’t thank them enough for the speedy diagnosis and exceptional care that saved our baby’s life. He had a twisted stomach and without immediate surgery would have died. Thank you especially to our surgeon, Dr. Davis, but also to all the other outstanding doctors, nurses and techs who treated him. He’s home recovering now and doing very well. We needed our cat looked at over the weekend (newly rescued cat who seemed to be having some kind of issue that couldn't wait for my vet on Monday). The VEG team immediately triaged him and kept us informed throughout - we were not as critical as other patients, so we waited, and I was impressed with seeing how they handled the other animals and those pet parents.
