Prompt, thorough, and kind care for f my pets during an emergency. I love the open structure model of this practice where treatment can occur in either the large open area or a smaller private room - lots of flexibility and interaction with the whole team and other clients. Very supportive atmosphere.
This was our first time using an emergency vet. We were referred by family and were not disappointed. From the initial call to them till we walked out the door our pet and ourselves were treated with utmost respect and care. Staff were professional and sympathetic to our issue. We will use them again should the need arise.
I live about 40 minutes away from VEG in Arden, but I will choose them every time for my pets' emergency needs. I called Wnc emergency vet (because it's much closer to me) when I needed help for my Pomeranian and they said I couldn't bring her; to find somewhere else. The best vet experience I ever had. The team was empathetic, professional and helpful. They wasted no time getting my cat in for emergency surgery. They let us stay with him the whole time and invited us to even stay overnight with no limit on hours. They clearly communicated an itemized list of fees, so there were no surprises after we authorized treatment.
