Doctors were professional and clearly communicated the necessary tests to treat our pup. They provided options for varying levels of testing but were very transparent about which ones they recommended to avoid unnecessary cost. There seems to be a standard 205$ emergency visit fee but that is well worth it. We had sonogram, x-ray, and diagnosis with prescriptions filled all within an hour. Would recommend this emergency vet.

I spent 14 hours with my dog in VEG, Falls Church. Every staff I met was kind, professional, patient and caring. They treated furry friends with respect, kindness and compassion. I cannot say enough how grateful I am for their help and support l. Highly recommend!

I was so pleasantly surprised that I was able to stay with my dog (Romeo) the whole time during his care! This was a game changer for both me (as the stressed out pet parent hoping my little guy was ok) and for Romeo (who was scared). I will never go to another emergency vet other than VEG again! Everyone should be doing emergency care this way! The technicians were so kind and sweet, as was the woman at the front desk. The doctor was very thorough and very kind as well!

I really appreciate how sweet and sensitive the doctors in this hospital are. They helped us twice when my cat had asthma attack and the way they attended to us brought us relief and Samba felt really safe around them.

We had to transfer our cat Whiskey from a local urgent animal care to VEG for more care and monitoring after a urinary blockage. Because the urgent animal care called ahead and made arrangements, we were taken in right away and had Whiskey examined. Unfortunately he was a very spicy boy! We left him for 24 hours and got updates from staff overnight. Due to his temper and stress levels we were recommended to pick him up and monitor at home. We really appreciate the staff being so respectful of his personality and putting his ... read more
