To sit down is $350 which they tell you, but it's not like I had a choice on a Sunday. The doctors were so great but the front staff- the receptionist were confrontational and hostile. I understand you are working on Sunday, but I too just came from my receptionist job on a Sunday and I know how to treat people better than they did - even difficult customers which I was not being. Called in early on a long weekend to get a same day appointment for a kitten who was coughing/sneezing, runny eyes and nose. They were very quick to set up an appointment and when we got there, they put us in a isolated room. The vet tech was quick to see us and take some measurements. The vet came in some time after and was very patient with us, letting us know that our case wasn't an emergency but he'd be happy to answer our questions, and also gave us options with pricing for diagnostic testings. The staff obviously cares and it was gratifying to see how quickly they went into action to help my cat.
Had to go to an emergency vet today and after a less than stellar experience at a different one, I was Google-ing places in a frenzy and found VEC. Receptionists were all great, solid customer service and everything was triaged expediently. My cat was examined promptly and the vet tech and vet were both very knowledgeable and offered expert consultation.
