Unhappy Customer, 5/19/2016 I brought my beloved 13 1/2 dog who battled diabetes for 2 1/2 years in today 5/19/16 as her time had come to leave this world. For over 2 1/2 years she gotten insulin injections twice daily. I asked for a peaceful passing and sedative. Dr. Cribb told me he did not put a IV catheter in the vein - did not need to waste the time. He was a good at getting in the vein - most of the time". After finding no answers with 2 other vets, I was looking for someone very experienced who was going to give me options without sugar coating the diagnosis with my pet. Dr Cribb's staff are very compassionate and accommodating, and he is very thorough and experienced in general vet practice as well as the benefits he has with training in specialized vet areas. Dr Cribb also has a lot of ER vet experience. I appreciate his realistic, honest, knowledgeable and straightforward, non-alarmist approach to veterinary medicine.
This review is not to bash this Vet Clinic, or this Veterinarian. I will admit that there are probably a lot of VCC clients who are very happy with the service provided to them. My wife had been bringing her pets to this clinic for 15 years and was one of the very first patients of the clinic. This review is based on OUR latest experience and ONLY OUR latest experience. BEWARE! I have been using this vet for many years with many pets and he screwed up bad. Not only did he not admit it, he went on his personal facebook page calling me neurotic and telling people I was mad because I didn't want to pay my bill. Truth is he pulled 13 teeth out of my dogs mouth without x-rays, without consulting me and sent her home with no pain meds, or antibiotics. Dr. Cribb and his entire staff is great. I took my silky terrier to them about 8 years ago, they took care of him for routine exams, blindness, head tilt, and basically just ageing and what goes along with that. Mango became very sick and was having trouble breathing, it was time. Dr. Cribb and the staff walked me through the entire process, they were great in a very difficult situation for me. I have referred my friends there and they have also been very happy. I will go back with my next dog, when the time comes.
Thank you for taking care of my senior rescue chihuahuas! Dr Cribb knows his stuff and tells it like it is! Very kind and knowledgable. The staff is super!
