I was rushed by the staff into consenting to an oncology treatment well above what’s tolerable according to recent studies and second opinions which directly resulted in the death of my pet. Prior to the treatment, I wasn’t told the dosage being administered or shown the vial as it was drawn how it’s routinely done in human medicine. I trusted BARC because of their fantastic reviews, but in the end I was left with nothing but tears and regrets. Great staff and Dr's Lots of parking,a very big waiting area. They also have an outdoor potty area with bags and a hose. They are not cheap and thats the only downside.
My rabbit went to BARC after a thoracic mass was found in her chest. BARC required us to prepay for two rounds of chemotherapy. My rabbit experienced severe side effects after the first round chemotherapy she received at BARC, but they refused to provide her follow up medical care. We had to go to a different clinic to receive follow up care and were told by our new new vet that the information BARC provided to us was inaccurate and misleading.
