Went in for a routine procedure and had an allergic reaction to a medication i didn't know about. I nearly died and they didn't miss a beat and kept me alive and well informed after the fact. Admitted me for a bit to make sure everything was good to go. If I had that medication outside of the OR down the road it could have very easily gone a different way.
I have been to several VA hospitals in the past years and have never had a bad experience with any operations or treatments The doctors and nurses have always been helpfull and professional. The Green Valley CLINIC Is also Top notch in their care.
I give one star for va pharmacy or who ever is responsible for shipping out refill medications. My brother goes a month without his meds. He is taking an anti cancer med and he went a month without it. He also takes other meds too. I am sooo disappointed and hurt in my heart!! He's an old man! What do they want him to die????
My 84 yr old Grandmother has been coming here to visit my aunt 3 times a week for the last 3 years, and it's the same security guard at the entrance that she always sees. She forgot her badge this one time and the security guard would not let her through, and I understand rules etc but come on.... She's seen my grandma go through there over a hundred times at this point, the least she could have done was called her supervisor to get clearance for the old lady.
