My husband and I bought a pellet stove and had Veteran Chimney install it. The previous owner installed it and stated we didn’t need a permit. We decided to end up selling our house and Nashua Building department said we needed a permit. Previous owners of Veteran Chimney didn’t even follow the directions of installation!! I ended up getting the permit, (city of Nashua was fantastic working with me! )and had the building inspector come out, now Veteran Chimney new and previous owners are not answering me and not fixing it! Heading to court with them. Save yourself the hassle. The old owner, Michael Baum, started our fireplace replacement when he was working for Nick. He sold the business to him months before he sold me the fireplace but did not tell me until I was paid up. That was 10 months ago and no install, no responsibility from either of them, and I'm taking all to small claims court now. Don't work with these thieves.
