This place is awesome. Henry is personable and really knowledgeable about his craft. I brought in a watch that had a dead battery for a while, hoping for a quick change—and he did it on the spot. He didn’t just replace the battery; he also serviced and oiled the parts and seals. Super meticulous work, and I really appreciated it. I’ll be bringing my watch back in a couple months for a full service. Highly recommend—thank you, Henry!
Refused to open the gate wide enough to allow a stroller into his store, refused to speak with me about my watches and insisted I just leave them with him and return to pick them up, no price estimate or anything. Nasty proprietor, bad place of business.
Henry was straight with me, explained everything that was wrong with my watch, what needed to be fixed, and genuinely cared about giving me back a quality, fully functional watch. I think the folks here who have customer service issues don’t understand immigrants. Immigrant customer service is very different from white American customer service. Henry is a good guy who cares, is very reasonable priced, and sincerely has a passion for this stuff. Cash only as well
Henry is a no nonsense guy. He’ll tell it to you straight. But if you work with him he is reasonable, kind, passionate about watches, and wants you to be happy with your watch. He repaired a 1950’s Omega for me at the best price and I was extremely happy with the result. I have been to many other repair shops in San Francisco and he is the best by a mile. I will only be taking my watches to him from now on!
