Dr. Zac is the most caring, knowledgeable psychiatrist I have seen in 30 years of mental health treatment. She listened intently to my concerns about meds that have long-lasting side effects on my physical health and longevity of life. Dr. Zak was very kind and thorough in the intake session and has managed my medications very well. Dr. Zak only does medication management, so the poor review she received from the client that complained because they were told that Dr. Zak would not give ADHD medications, is not a true evaluation. She doesn't do psychotherapy, so that client not wanting medicine, only wanting psychotherapy, was rightfully refused treatment.
I arrived today from my initial visit with Dr Zack. It took everything I had to make it to the appointment because I was so anxious and nervous. Upon arrival the nurse immediately confronted me telling me that we could they could not give me any ADHD medicine. Did not say hi how you doing welcome you know anything just immediately we cant give you ADHD medicin that wasn't why we were there we were there for tools to help us to deal with our depression and anxiety.
