A guy came by to look at my roof about a week after I contacted them. After discussing the work needed he said he would email an estimate in about another week. That was about 3 weeks ago. Never heard from them again. Just be honest. If you don't want or have time for the job say so.
We hired Vernon roofing to replace the plywood, underlay and shingles on our roof. They replaced the underlay and shingles but didn't replace the plywood. The crew was not informed we needed the plywood replaced too. I contacted the owner and he came out and replaced 1 piece of plywood. I'm disappointed we didn't get the plywood replaced as its obviously soft and needs to be replaced which was our reason for redoing the roof We also noticed that the exposed nails were not sealed with roofing cement which defeats the purpose ... read more
