I have been going to Dr. Dorfman for the last 5 years and he is great. Recently relocated to Hollywood FL. He is semi-retired but he is always very flexible and accomodating.

Outstanding, competent, and compassionate practitioner. Really listens and is patient to the nth degree. As per the complaints of "scamming", not taking credit cards, etc, Dr. Dorfman does not work full time, is semi-retired, but really seems to enjoy helping people. I chocked this up to attempting to minimize his overhead as he is not running a "full bore practice". But the upside is spades more personal attention. You want more dollars or better health? Yes, I drive that far to see him.
Dr. Vernon only takes cash, not even credit cards. As a new patient, Dr. Vernon took a thorough history. He then came up with a treatment plan which involved medication. At the end of the session, I said okay, I'm ready to start the plan. He said, you must make a second appointment in order to get any prescriptions whatsoever. He said I could even make it the very next day. I said- wait, that sounds like you just want more cash for the second appointment. This is obvioulsy a scam.
