I honestly have had total hit or miss experiences with Verizon stores and their phone customer service has been meh. But today at breakfast I decided to combine phone plans and made a noon appointment (don't go without one, you will hate your life). We got in, seated, discussed our plans, and there's a great number of deals right now. Chris, the employee who helped us, was smart, friendly, and got my bf upgraded to a new iPhone, sold us on a 30 day free trial of Internet (which if we commit is $30 less than Sparklight). Terrible service. After spending almost two hours on the phone with Verizon trying to activate a watch I was told I had to come to a store. The appointments they had available were during hours I couldn’t go so I asked if my wife could come instead. They said absolutely and created the appointment in her name. She gets there and is told they cannot help her and I needed to be present. I spoke with them on the phone and they still would not speak to my wife.
