My 81yo mother was badly scammed at this store. She walked out with a $1,100 phone which she has no idea how to use - she makes calls and texts. In addition to the phone, a salesperson named Matthew sold her a new business line, router, and ~$120 in accessories (which she was led to believe were complimentary). Matthew spoke fast, was high pressure, lied to her, and confused her by reassuring her these additions would save her money. Even though I had an appointment, I was forced to wait for more than an hour. Other customers in line were also complaining about the long wait times. The employees work extremely slowly, and after helping one customer, many of them disappear into the back room for a long time instead of assisting new customers. This was honestly one of the worst Verizon store experiences I’ve had. My time was completely wasted.
