One of the worst Verizon experiences I’ve had. Went in to trade in phones and was overcharged for everything. They just conveniently added on insurance at the maximum tier and never even asked us. Charged 40 dollars each to switch the information onto the new phones, which should be complimentary. He said our phone were transferred and we got home and my daughters was not finished we then had to spend several hours on hold with Verizon to get hers activated and working. We came in today to transfer my husband’s phone number to my existing Verizon account, and to purchase a new phone for him. If I could give Serena 10 stars, I would. She was patient, kind and very helpful. We also ended up saving a boatload on our monthly bill! Thank you so much!
Horrible! ..I had transferred my phone number to Walmart Family mobile, since they now use Verizon service and I've had WFM for all my other family cell phones for a much longer time. Save yourself some trouble and time, don’t take this promotion as redemption has no standard approach. Context: Bought phone last May 2024, with their promotion on home internet for 6 months. As incentive of trying this new service, you’ll get $200 gift card or a Microsoft tablet-pretty good to be true, but sure. 6 months later, we called the customer service to redeem, visited the store & and we’re asked to call the head qtr again. The worst! Went to return my internet cube. Verizon rep in the front told me to throw it away..he didn't want it. Asked if they're not gonna at least take it to recycle he said flat out no! Now I'm getting charged $400 for something I threw away months ago because the Verizon attitude troll didn't give a **** about me or his job. Not to mention I'm still getting billed $50 a month for something I canceled months ago. The outsource c.s. that you talk to is no help either.
