Bought a brand new town home last Feb. From Verity. They seemed like great guys until water came into the basement over and over and flooded the side of our home right away with the first thaw. They blammed us for it coming in (for the way we graded the side yard, which they were supposed to do.)They started by helping us clean up, but are now ghosting us. We are due a 1 yr warranty inspection/walk-through, I doubt they will do that. We have a builder issue with the way they built these homes and they won't fix it! Horrible ... read more
Owner of property management company, Gold Star; I wouldn’t suggest doing business with either. Unfortunately the employees here follow shady business practices and are very poorly managed; as a former renter it’s almost comical how bad of an experience I’ve had with them. I have been attempting to work with them for over two months since my move out and have dealt with a different person every single time and still can’t even get an itemized statement from absurd cleaning charges. We did a small amount of work for Verity last year. Working with the project managers and office staff was just fine and a pleasure. However, they will not pay you when you are finished. We were 6-8 months behind on some projects. Why should you care? Because a contractor may place a mechanics lien on your new dream home after you buy it. This can put you in a massive financial mess. Between fighting Verity to pay the contractor and then having the contractor remove the lien after it is placed you can be a real mess. Verity ... read more
