Neighborhood Charm This is a personal favorite of mine, and not just because it's in my neighborhood. Verite is a true neighborhood caf with heaps of distinction and charm. It's also clean and bright enough to please the most demanding visitor. The attached bakery also makes famous cupcakes. Verite is very child friendly and has free wireless networking. PROS: great cupcakes, child friendly, wireless networking CONS: not centrally located
The cupcake has graduated! Verite serves up a great latte, but it's the delicious and dense cupcakes by cupcake royale that are such a draw. Creamy buttercream frosting tops chocolate or vanilla cake. They come in regular and small. And the regular could easily pass for large! I especially recommend the mint flavored frosting!
Here is another wonderful coffee place in Seattle's Madrona neighborhood. There is also a new shop in Ballard. They serve excellent coffee and the world's greatest cupcakes in a great atmosphere. Bring your laptop and use their wireless connection, or bring a book and enjoy a latte and an amazing cupcake in a wonderful neighborhood. They sell the cutest T-shirts for both Cupcake Royale and Verite Coffee.
Madrona's Corner Coffeeshop Like cupcakes? Like coffee? The ambiance of Verite, located in the heart of Madrona, is something I'm sure you'll appreciate. The shop has brought cupcakes "back" and features an assortment of flavors, sizes and colors to satisfy all of our tastes. There's also a new shop in Ballard, which I heard was equally fun. The coffeeshop is normally playing good music, too, which makes the ambiance even more enjoyable.
Great cupcakes The cupckaes are fantastic. They are a fabulous option instead of wedding cake. They can be made in multiple flavors and can have different decorations. Ballard is so fun and you could get a cupckae and then walk next door to the Majestic Bay for a movie. This place has chracter and in the summer, they have outdoor seating.
