My experience with Veritas Behavioral Health was very good. The staff was cooperative, supportive, and professional.
My experience here was ok at first and then I had a crisis which put me in the hospital. It took me 5 days just to speak with someone in the office and Mrs. Johnson never bothered to return my calls. I have since found a new provider who is much more responsive to my needs and doesn't suggest vitamins for mental health issues. I was going to rate 3 stars but the not returning phone calls was unacceptable.
I am having the most amazing interaction with Nurse Practitioner Flick. She is incredibly compassionate, polite and respectful. She asks great questions, truly listens to me and genuinely cares. I feel like I am a part of my own mental health care plan which is rare. She doesn’t push medications on me. She is one of the few people that has ever helped with my anxiety! Dr. Mary Hart-Johnson is amazing 🎉 I've been going to her for my ADHD & depression treatment since about 2018. She listens to what you have to say, whether you have lots of questions, concerns or even if you'd like to look into trying a different medication. She also is NOT a "pill-pusher", which I've experienced those types of doctors many year's ago & it was awful.
