I have to say that I was very excited when I first moved to Veranda. Then everything change. First I had no working AC for two months. Management would send the maintain person but nothing. My electric bill for those two months ( because they would not fix or change the thermostat the AC ran 24/7) was for 300.00. Then they keep the club house immaculate but nothing else. They never sweep the stairs or clean the lighting features. Tenants would have mattresses outside their apartment. They keep the green areas nice in the fro... read more
I came to Veranda in 2008, after they lowered their admission age. The previous writer is incorrect, no one under the age of 18 is permitted. The community remains quiet, peaceful and a friendly community. The apartment homes are well kept and attractive. The management team is warm and friendly and always available and approachable. I had never lived in an apartment prior to this, so being my first impression, it has been a great experience and in fact enjoy it.
I sit in the office for 40 minutes for an appointment made the day before. I was then called tot he clerks station to be advised I would not be seen unless I made a \$50 payment on a balance I was completely unaware of, nor advised of prior to the appointment. The decision was allegedly made by office manager Jennifer. First of all, I would have came prepared to make a payment, but since no one advised me of such I was not. Second and most importantly, I was on my lunch break which was completely wasted.

I came to Veranda 2007 and wrote a raving review about the quality and mgmt staff of this complex. I now have changed my mind; it was a 55 plus commuity but now accepting people under 55 claiming they are allowed that rule change. It is all about mgmts bottom line. It was peaceful here, but things change when money gets tight; conclusion: next month it will allow children in these small 1/2 bedroom homes...just so the complex is filled up! sorry folks...you were great once, but your qualification for entry into the park has ... read more
tonya is the most caring doc i have ever met she really understands what you are going through and she will do anything to make sure you get better. and she has only your best intrests in mind
this is not a place for familys the management will make your life miserable
We love Tonya.... We have taken our baby there from birth and she was premature and weighed 5 pounds. Tonya was very attentive and made sure our baby had the best treatment and she monitored her growth to make sure she was developing correctly. I am pregnant again, and will take this baby there also. She also was pretty intuative about my health needs and asked me frequently how I was after having my first baby.Joy on the other hand told me once that my whole family was sick and gave them antibiotics, and I had the same symp... read more
