I lived here for 1 yr and would not recommend this community. First of all, they will keep your deposit when you move out. They will come up with something in your apt to validate their compensation.They will not spend any money on fixing or replacing appliances until you complain enough and don t give up. The screens on your sliding glass doors are not fitted right and they will not replace it but will place it back on the track until the next time it comes off. I lived at Veranda Apartments for a year and would not recommend it. Only living there a year management has gone though 6 front desk people. You can never get anyone on the phone, always get their answering machine and never receive a call back. If you happen to get lucky and the phone is answered they are rude. The water is awful, when I used my dishwasher there was always a sandy gritty residue on my dishes. Maintenance was called several times but a solution was never found. When I first rented in Veranda Apts it was a 55 and older community. Since then it has done away with that and now lets all ages in. In the last year I have been very disappointed. They have hired about 6 different managers this year. It used to be a good place to rent and you could get things repaired. Servicemen are nice and do their jobs. Management sucks. If you do have a problem it may or may not get repaired depending on the office management. The water is terrible and I would recommend that you get your drinking water... read more
Put a deposit down and for personal family reasons could not move in...they will not give my deposit back...the thing is, I NEVER signed a lease, I was still waiting on an approval!
Office staff will lie about everything. They are not to be trusted in any way.
my husband and i lived here for 6 months and in that time there were 3 drug busts one was in the appartment rite above us it wansnt a supprise because it always smelled like pot and the woman that lived there was i stripper and the man that lived there was a drug dealer! i do not recommend raising your family there!

We moved into Veranda Apts. last year- at first the experience was nice, quiet and peaceful. Until trash started mounting up in hallways for a few days at a time and they have replaced the office staff TWICE since we moved in six months ago (weird) and beware of NWP and the Apartment Management Teams advice they give. We have paid my utility bills and have proof, by receipts and cancelled checks, yet the billing company has NO RECORD of payments that were either cashed by an office employee (and never recorded) or NWP. I moved to Veranda 2 years ago and I love it here. The outside of the buildings are nice-the inside of the apts are georgous. I live in a 1 bedroom with a den(which is perfect for my office/computer room). This is a great location for my work as I travel between Orlando and The Villages. I have only had one maintenance problem, my ac making a noise at 2am. I called the after hour phone number and in no time the maintenance man was at my apt to do repair.
