I have lived here for nearly two years. First year was great. Going into the second year they switched management or ownership, I’m not sure. But suddenly the type of residents living here changed. This entire complex smells like marijuana. Everyday inside my apartment even though I don’t smoke reeks of marijuana. My cloths smell like pot. My kid has to breathe it in every day. We have been living at The Veranda for 14 years. We have had a few management changes over the years. Veronica is awesome. Her and Rose are very understanding. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath with garden tubs in both bathrooms. I totally recommend living here.
JFC, do not rent an apartment in this ghetto slum. Management is a nightmare to deal with. They might call you back in 6 hours, just to be vindictively unhelpful. I could spend paragraphs on the neighbors that had a fire that destroyed our apartment. But it was a dryer fire, with a month old maintenance request that was ignored. Rose is rude, incapable of admitting a simple mistake like having phone numbers mixed up. Why don't the neighbors have they $100k liability insurance that everyone else has?
