The service is no longer consistent. It's based off the mood the staff is in. We have lived in Ramona for 8 years. We have given this place a fair shot. It just has gotten worse. My mother and I walked in, nobody said hello or asked us what we needed. I originally just thought everyone was busy. My mom and I waited a bit and sat down. I went to the shop to enjoy a manicure and pedicure for Mother’s Day. I spent most of the appointment trying to turn down up charges, even though I had made an appointment for a specific treatment. The women all squabbled over how much things cost and I ended up having to show them their own website to get charged the right amount. They did not honor a coupon that they have on their website nor did they offer any beverages even though that is also part of the service. My nails look great, but it was far from relaxing. Looked on the website for Venus nails and spa. Chose a botanical manicure for $34 and made an appointment. Went in and told them I had an appointment for a manicure (the botanical one). They looked at me strangely. I told them the $34 one and they said it's $45. I asked to look at their book. Pointed to the one I chose and the woman looked perplexed asking the woman next to her.
