Venus Nails in ElmwoodPark is my new to -go spot!!.From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed. The salon has a lovely calming atmosphere, is spotless and they have a huge variety of dip powder colors to choose from. I was really impressed with the attention to detail during my gel manicure . I have been going to this salon before the current owner. Have requested manicurist that always did a get job. Today I made an appt for a manicure and pedicure she called asked if I would come in an hour later I said ok. However I arrived at 4 had pedicure she was still working on lady that was there when I got there and at the way this was going I would have been lucky to get manicure about 6 pm. She was the only one doing manicures . She could have asked me to come another day or even say this lady was taking a long time. ... read more

Not sanitary! I just moved here & tried out Venus Nails. They do not open up a sealed set of sanitized utensils as I am used to, but just use same ones from the last patron. Entire place did not appear to be very clean either. They do not offer extended-wear polish as an option which I am also used to. Venus Nails was a one & done for me.
