As parents of 3 small kids, ages 5,4 & 2, I love having family pictures but have never really enjoyed taking the pictures. The kids never sit still, too hot, no one's looking at the camera, etc. Taking pictures at Venture Photography was the first FUN experience I've ever had taking family photos. I paid $50 for the photo shoot and free 8x10 from an event at the science center. We were done within one hour. Michael was a great photographer and had my kids laughing and having fun! The photos came back looking great! It was very expensive to purchase the framed photos but worth the money. I would do it again in a few years!

At first I was a little skeptical of this session. What turned out to be a quick session because my son was fussy, the next session was great, Kam and Mike did an absolutely wonderful job with keeping things upbeat for my son to get a good session. I enjoyed the experience and appreciate the level of professionalism provided. The photos are quality and the customer service is superior. My hesitation is connected to buyers remorse. Though the review process wasn't rushed, I did feel a decision had to be made during the session. As a result, I rushed into a product that won't fit in my home. Now I am fearful I am stuck with a beautiful piece of art that is simply not the right size.
Venture Photography will certainly surprise you with an atypical photo session. The photographers brought out the personality of each of our children (ages 5, 8 and 10) and we really had an enjoyable time at the session. It was almost too short. I am used to taking forever to get just the right shot. We all had fun and no was grumpy by the end of it. My husband and I had been searching for the perfect place that would capture us and our four legged kids. I knew what I liked and many of the places we looked into couldn't offer the expertise nor the quality we were looking for. Our experience from start to finish has been beyond great. Our session was with Cam she called a few days prior to our session to review what story we wanted to tell and give her ideas for the day of the shoot. Amazing! What an amazing experience we had with Venture Photography! My husband purchased a sitting fee and 8x10 shot for $50 at a charity event. (Which I was not happy about it the beginning!) However, I called to book the shoot and immediatly was excited. Not only were they okay with us bringing our dog, but our photographer was excited that we were bringing our dog. Outstanding experience and the results were even more so. Will recommend to all I know and continue using them in the future. If I was to say anything it would be a warning that if you are use to Glamour Shoot service and pricing I would not go to Venture, as they are top notch.
