This is a great facility where they reclaim wastewater and create much cleaner water. The effluent flows into a few huge ponds where there is much wildlife then into an estuary by the beach. Their service sustain many birds, insects, fish, and other wildlife habitats. It's interesting to learn about how they clean up the water and where it goes.

It is very gratifying to volunteer at the plant & lab. I am able to use the knowledge gained from my 2 Ventura College Water Science degrees.
