Ok here it is. I come in about every three months for what I consider s deep clean. It is not inexpensive. But I believe it's worth it. In the interim I religiously, religiously...tend to my teeth twice daily all the while consciously eating foods that go easy on teeth and everything else. Now I know I am getting older. And I know that the area between my gums and teeth is not getting smaller. And I know that your going to get plaque there.
