Was originally referred to Dr Westra in 2022. I was very impressed when he informed me that surgery should NOT be the first move. He is very knowledgeable and assisted me in receiving all treatments available in an effort to avoid surgery. Ultimately in 2023 Dr. Westra performed a Lumbar Fusion. Having placed my trust in him is absolutely the right decision. I continue to do annual follow ups and look forward to seeing Dr. Westra each time. My husband has been seeing Dr. Wagner and we absolutely love her care! She definitely takes the time to explain everything to you and answers any questions or doubts you may have, She was quick to get my husband the care he needed and his surgery, he's almost 3 weeks post op and is doing amazing! Dr Westra is kind, thoughtful and highly skilled in his field. On 12/26/24 he performed successful L3-S1 Decompression & Fusion on me. My nerves were severely pinched prior to surgery and their recovery is slow but Dr Westra has been supportive and encouraging. I highly recommend him to perform all surgeries in his field.
