Great place to live and good people around us, we have lived here this time for little over 3 years, prior to that we rented here for around 6 years or so. We like the area, lots of older people here that remind me of my grandmother. We live in the back end this time near 96th st, prior we lived near the car wash area and mailboxes. Update 3/11 - After posting this review, the complex finally reached out and admitted they had my package. WHY did it take a review when I'd sent numerous emails with photos from the delivery company of it being dropped off and confirmation it had been picked up by someone there? Leaving the review up so others know to watch their mail/package deliveries. Withheld a negative review at the request of the complex, but now we have no choice. After moving out, a package was delivered to Ventana in error, and I have photos from the delivery company of it being placed in the parcel box, and the parcel lockers video the retrieval. Reached out to the office twice, sent photos, no reply. It was an expensive item, it does not belong to whoever received it, and the next step is to file a report for mail theft. If I could give zero stars to this complex, I would. CA company and the place is falling apart. Old appliances, leaks and constant water shut offs. The smells in the drain and the bugs that have been present since day one. I wondered how this place could have a four star review overall, and then I realized most of them are from people who only toured the complex but do not have the misfortune of living here. I am extremely happy with my experience so far with Ventana Apartments. I just got moved and wanted to share how helpful Barry was during the whole process. From the beginning he was super helpful, answering all my questions and putting up with me changing my mind and having to resend the lease several times. On the day of move in, the apartment was cool, clean, and had a goodie bag with a bunch of cleaning supplies, which was a super nice touch I've never seen before.
