This review is about the character of the people who run Venice Island Boat Rental. Matt from Venice Island Boat Rental knew that we were flying in for the purpose of using our rental to take my Mom out to the gulf for her burial. We could not afford to have the burial not take place because our flight home was later that day. Renting a boat from Venice Island was a great experience. The boat was clean, well equipped and ran like a champ. Our host, Matt, could not have been more helpful and instructive as it related to operating the craft and places to go. Additionally a great marina to get in and out of -both by boat and car. Highly recommend working with these guys! I know we will do so again. Steve D
I had a great time with my family cruising the intercostal and grilling at snake island. Matthew the staff member that helped us was very friendly.
Well we had a reservation for 12:45 pm. Confirmed last Thursday with Brad. Yet, we show up today to no Brad and NO BOAT!! Waited 46 minutes in 100* weather with 10 people for him. We called and text SEVERAL times with ZERO response!!! Unfortunately you can’t count on this company to be there with your boat even if you verified 4 days in advance. YOU CAN DO BETTER VENCE ISLAND BOAT RENTALS AND NOT LEAVE YOUR GUESTS STRANDED ON THE PIER WITH 10 people and their coolers!! So many places to rent that I would skip this place and ... read more
