Every week, the trash cans are thrown into the ditch. The lids are torn off and laying in the street for people to run them over. They have even taken the lids to all my trash cans one week. Another week, they destroyed the can by smashing it against the truck and tore it so it was no longer usable. I can't keep replacing them because they feel like being nasty and throwing them around and leaving lids in the street to get run over. I can always tell if we have someone else do our route. The trash collectors leave the empty containers all over my property. Usually in the middle of the driveway so I have to get out of my car and move them before I can pull in. Just what you want to deal with after a 12 hour work day. When I called to ask them to have a talk with the drivers and make sure it stops, the representative tried to say it was somehow my fault or they must be setting them on angle on and on.
