I recently returned to veni vidi vici after completing IOP for the first time a couple months ago and I had a wonderful experience. For the first time in my life I do not dread a treatment facility or service. My counselor was/is Taryn. She welcomes everyone into the group and made me feel (for the first ever) happy to have groups during the week. She helps you because is so committed to her craft and is very knowledgeable. AVOID! This place is UNPROFESSIONAL….JUDGMENTAL…Holier than thou…CANT KEEP EMPLOYEES…from the pharmacy on down…I had 7 counselors in 2 years. NEVER see a Dr. not sure how they get the prescriptions signed…EVERY methadone clinic I’ve EVER been too in 15 years and 3 states..THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT I DIDNT see a DR. ….. NOT LPN or RN…a DR. …I FILED Complaints with BBB ….CARF… and The Medical license board or directors. MORE to come!
I started my treatment at MedMark in BelCamp Md. I wanted to own my recovery and be in control of it because my recovery is very important and personal to me. I did have a good counselor there but the treatment center itself is run like a probation office, the way it’s run was like you did something wrong rather then being an added tool to use for your recovery. They forgot to give me bloodwork paperwork, realized it at the first of the year then pretended it was my blunder.
