I don't like the word hate in the rating option. But definitely I WON'T ever go back to this place. I was kind to give my feedback to the owner about their pricing for an "arepa" and her response was in essence "high costs of rent and employment". I don't expect an "arepa" to cost same as in Venezuela but let's get real. Word to other Venezuelan restaurants in Chicagoland rethink pricing. Place has amazing food. I'm Venezuelan and I can say it tastes just like back in the MotherLand!
The food was good and authentic. The flavoring could be a bit more robust, especially being Venezuelan cuisine. I will decently come back and try it again. We need more Venezuelan restaurants in Chicago

Food changed since they opened. Seasoning is different, plate sizes are smaller and a lot of cheese substitution changes the flavor on boli and empanadas.

I love this place, honestly the food is so delicious, the staff is friendly, price is right plus BYOB. Without a doubt the best Venezuelan food in Chicago.
