During a trip to Alaska we stopped at a Jewellery shop and purchased a Gents onyx ring. The price was reasonable and we were happy with our purchase. However on returning to Australia the stone fell out of the ring and was lost. Max the owner of the store offered to have it repaired if we sent it to America. We asked at our normal Jeweller and they were able to replace the stone for $200. This suited us better than risking sending the ring to America.
